The following conversation is about how to prepare your project and scene(s) from a blank project.
It is between a totally new user of UMA for Unity and me. Also the user is a new Unity user, learning from 2014.
Finally, we do not speak the same language and the hour was so late
But using the english language as a base, we do understand each other.
Now the user is one of my trusted users about all the DK UMA stuffs.
It is divided into 2 parts, the presentation and the Learning.

The next Premium pack will include the Ingame creator.
The Premium price will be higher and the previous users of it will have to pay for the update to the new version.

Hello Wioleta, that error message means that a DK UMA element is not linked to its original UMA element. Possible cause is that the original element is not installed into your project and I think that is the case because I am working with the PBR version of UMA 2.0.5. So you can download the free PBR update to UMA 2. Please let me know about it.

. It`s weird because when I tap play in editor, error makes pause but I didn`t switch Error pouse in console.

well first you can take a look to the web doc at

But i will give you the strait way
1- open the Element Manager and click on 'detect all elements'
2- Click on 'clean' to clean the libraries
3- Click on the 'UMA' and on 'DK' buttons to add to the libraries
4- Click on 'Fix Elements' to prepare the texture and all othe little stuffs
5- Click on 'Create RPG lists'
6- Create your avatar using the DK UMA Editor
7- try launching the game mode

Am I need to install it on every single scene where I need to make a character?
DK :
Yes, UMA is designed that way, you need all the gameobject on any scene to generate the avatars or the NPCs.
to be simple, you create your scene with the UMA and DK UMA installed. You install the various elements from 3rd prty authors, then you copy the Gameobjects to the other scenes.
The gameobjects are :
'DK_UMA', 'UMA', 'Zeropoint' and 'NPC Models'.

No, I had still problem. Do you think it`s connecting with it, that I haven`t any texture pack extra? Because f.ex. my goblin hasn`t face, has only eyes and mouth xD

don't worry about those 3 error messages, it is due to a Unity bug, all have been detected and stored properly
because DK UMA detected all the UMA and DK UMA elements, pushing Unity deep.

open the scene from example folder of the basic UMA at
UMA/Content/UMA/PBR/Example/Scenes Scene02...

then open the UMA object from the hierarchy window and disable the provided avatars (Female, Hugo, male, Troll, Lucy)

open the DK UMA Editor window, it will install DK UMA automatically into your scene.

About the PBR version of DK UMA, you have to delete the Legacy Elements from :
UMA/Content/UMA/Legacy
Delete the Slots ans Overlays but Keep the Material Sample folder

open the 'Elements Manager', it will detect all elements automatically (for the second time émoticône smile maybe the 3 previous error message but do not care of it) )

Handled is for the hnd equipment,
actually you have no handled elements in your project.
The WillB wolf armor is the perfect example about handled elements (for later steps if you need it).

exact, you already are able to manage all the avatar with the RPG Editor,
but first of all you will have to do the previous steps of the 'Elements Manager',
all the time the same steps but
it is the key to use DK UMA with the 'Blue Prints' I provided at the asset store.
If their are no blue print for your 3rd party elements,
you can learn how to prepare the new DK elements from any UMA 2 element,
Take a look at the web doc and use the blue prints as example to learn how I have created them.
